Early morning gunfire leaves one dead

Cleveland - Cleveland police say a man died following an apparent shootout early Saturday morning on the city's East Side.

Officers found a man lying between two parked cars at East 107th and Woodland, at the Morris Black Estates.

He had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, and was pronounced dead by emergency medical workers.

Police learned the victim and other suspects had exchanged gunfire, then the shooters fled the scene.

No descriptions were available.
