(CLEVELAND) - The RTA driver who hit and killed a woman on Public Square is now facing charges. Joan Kuendig was legally crossing the street in Public Square back in December and was hit by an RTA bus as it made a left hand turn onto Rockwell Avenue. The Bus driver, Antoinette Peterkin, was fired in January and now faces aggravated vehicular homicide charges. RTA said the driver didn't come to a complete stop before making the turn.
