Two Cleveland Pit Bull Attacks In 24 Hours

CLEVELAND, OH - Four people are recovering from serious injuries after being attacked by their pit bulls in separate incidents.  The first victims were a man and his wife, and Cleveland Police say the attack happened on Hamm Avenue in Slavic Village around 8 p.m. last night.  The man's wife stabbed the dog to stop the attack.  The man was taken to Metro Health Medical Center, and was listed in serious condition as of last night. The dog was confiscated by the city kennel.  

In a second attack on Linwood Drive, police said a 79 year old and a 30 year old man were attacked by their pit bull.  Both were taken to the hospital, and the dog was confiscated by the city kennel.  There was no word on the extent of their injuries.
