Armed robbers storm Shaker Heights credit Union

(Cuyahoga County) - Today, April 3, 2017,  at approximately 10:05am a bank robbery was attempted at the Buckeye State Credit Union located at 15808 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Hts, Ohio.   

Three unknown black males entered the bank each armed with a handgun.  One unknown suspect jumped the teller counter and held a bank employee at gun point demanding money. 

The employee tried to dispense money from the machine; however the machine would not dispense any money.  

A second unknown suspect pulled another employee out of their office to the teller counter and at gunpoint forced the employee to try to obtain money from the machine.  

The attempt was unsuccessful.   The third unknown suspect remained on the customer side of the teller counter to watch over the other  customers in the bank during the robbery.    

The three unknown suspects fled the bank without any currency obtained.  No physical injuries were reported.

The three unknown suspects are described as black males, dressed in hooded sweatshirts pulled tightly over their faces.    

All three are described as approximately 5'9", thin build and possibly in their late teens or early 20's.  

Tips can be provided to the Shaker Heights Police Department, the Cleveland Division of the FBI or Crimestoppers.  

Tips can remain anonymous.  Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible.
