(Cleveland) - Five people are scheduled to face a judge this week, accused of starting a brawl at the I-X Indoor Amusement Park.
Cleveland Police say several so-called "flash mobs" stormed the I-X Center this past weekend to disrupt the event.
The amusement park shut down early as officers hauled away three adults for carrying concealed weapons and two juveniles for rioting.
Police Commander Gary Gingell says the three with weapons were being tracked by undercover gang unit officers and were arrested before they could cause any trouble.
Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson says that may have prevented a shooting, possibly saving lives.
Many families were frightened when mobs of teens began fighting each other and scuffling with police officers.
The near riot happened as the amusement park was holding it's first spring break weekend.
