(WESTLAKE) - Westlake police say the same woman may be responsible for thefts at two separate office complexes in the city. A Lorain woman’s purse was taken from her office at her workplace (Lutheran Home) on Dover Center Road on February 24th. Three credit cards were used for a total of $888 in purchases at various Cleveland locations. The suspect is pictured above.
A second victim’s purse was taken from her office at a Detroit Road nursing home on that same date. Westlake police tell WTAM they're not sure if it was the same woman, but it appears to be more than a coincidence that the thefts happened on the same day in a similar fashion.
