(Cleveland) - Suspects held police at bay outside at downtown gentleman's club early this morning.
The standoff began overnight at East 23rd and St. Clair when officers spotted 4 people in a vehicle, outside the Magic City Lounge.
Investigators say the suspects appeared to have narcotics. Two suspects fled, and were later arrested.
Police Chief Calvin Williams says two remained inside with a gun and fired at officers.Officers fired back, the two suspects suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were rushed to MetroHealth, a SWAT officer was treated for a graze wound to the leg and released.
