Iconic Shoreway Smokestack Blown Up


(Cleveland, OH)  --  Cleveland's iconic Lake Shore Power Plant is now a pile of rubble.  Crews imploded the smokestack and boiler building off East 72nd Street overnight, ending more than a year of demolition work.  The plant opened in 1911 to meet Cleveland's need for electricity.  The property will be converted to green space
