Cavaliers Assign Kay Felder to Canton Charge

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers have assigned guard Kay Felder to the Canton Charge, the Cavaliers exclusively owned and operated NBA Development League team, Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin announced today.

Felder has appeared in 2 games for the Charge this season, averaging 30.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 41.5 minutes per game.

Felder has appeared in 36 games for the Cavs this season, averaging 4.1 points in 9.6 minutes per game.

He will be available for tonight’s Charge game against the Delaware 87ers in Canton at 7:00 p.m. EST.

This move comes on the heels of the Cavaliers being linked to pending free agent point guard Deron Williams who was waived by the Dallas Mavericks. The Cavs roster currently sits at 14 out of 15 available. Is this move a sign of moves to come?
