GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- It's been a busy first week for the Cleveland Indians as they began preparations for the 2017 season opening Spring Training on Sunday, Feb. 12. Since then, it's been all business and plenty of baseball.
Once pitchers and catchers reported to camp and underwent their required physicals, workouts began at the club's player development complex and on Saturday, position players will be added to that mix when the team holds their first official full squad workout. Thursday and Friday position players reported and also underwent their physicals.
The Tribe's first scheduled Cactus League exhibition game is Saturday, Feb. 25 at Goodyear Ballpark against the Cincinnati Reds. Here's a quick look some photos from Week 1 of spring training with the Indians:
