(Elyria) – As many as 1,000 firefighters from the United States and Canada are expected in Lorain County Saturday for the funeral for former Elyria firefighter and Sheffield Township Trustee Mark Horton. Horton died Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Route 58 in Wellington while on his way to a union event.
The Morning Journal reports as many as 75 fire trucks are expected for the funeral procession.
