(Goodyear, AZ) – A familiar face is back with the Cleveland Indians, as former outfielder Grady Sizemore has been hired as an Advisor to Player Development.
Sizemore is at spring training camp in Arizona, where he will assist the Major League staff for the coming weeks, before transitioning over to Minor League camp in March. During the regular season, Sizemore will serve as a special assistant, and will be immersed in other on-and-off-field baseball operations functions.
Sizemore was with the Indians from 2004-11. He was a three-time AL All-Star, and won two Gold Glove awards and a Silver Slugger award.
