(Cleveland) - This week's Fugitive of the Week is 24-year-old Devante Gibbs, who was on trial for rape last week, but fled from the Lorain County Courthouse before he was found guilty. He is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Lorain County Sheriff's Office on a charge of failing to appear for trial.
At the time he ran off, Gibbs was being tried on charges of rape, kidnapping, child endangering, and felonious assault, involving a two-year-old child.
Gibbs stands 5'10', weighs 160, has brown hair and brown eyes, and typically wears his hair shaved. His last known address was in Lorain.
