Euclid police ask public for help to solve deadly hit/skip

Euclid - Euclid police are again asking for help from the public in locating the vehicle involved in the hit-skip death of 35-year-old Morris Walker of Euclid last Friday evening.

Mr. Walker died at the scene after being struck by a vehicle near East 196th and Euclid Avenue.

Police say the driver didn't stop and continued westbound toward the Euclid/Cleveland border.

The vehicle involved is a 2002-2007 royal blue Porsche Cayenne Sport Utility Vehicle.

Euclid police say that numerous tips have been called in , and they've "developed a person of interest who has retained legal counsel and has not spoken to police since they were identified."

A news release issued by the Department says detectives are specifically seeking information on where the vehicle is being stored.

Crime Stoppers (216-443-6028) is offering a reward of up to $2500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person responsible.
