The Cleveland Indians pitching staff is chock full of right-handed pitchers.
Aside from Andrew Miller, Kyle Crockett, Ryan Merritt and Shawn Morimando, all five of the team's starters and the majority of their bullpen is comprised of righties. With Crockett failing to prove himself in 2016 (5.06 ERA, 1.44 WHIP), the need for a second southpaw was apparent immediately after last year's memorable season came to an end.
