(Marion, Ohio) - If you believe in groundhogs, there'll be six more weeks of winter. The prognosticating rodents in both Ohio and Pennsylvania agree on that.
Promptly at 7:20 a.m., Punxsutawney Phil was pulled out of his burrow on Gobbler's Knob in the western Pennsylvania town of Punxsutawney. Phil's handler said the rodent saw his shadow, so according to legend, there'll be six more weeks of winter.
20 minutes later, the folks at iHeartMedia's WMRN Radio in Marion got the same response from Buckeye Chuck, Ohio's official groundhog. Chuck saw his shadow, so again, according to tradition, a forecast of six more weeks of winter.
No matter what, winter officially ends on March 20.
