This week our Featured Furry Friend is a handsome tuxedo cat named Marshmallow! Marshmallow is a staff and volunteer favorite because he is just as sweet as his name suggests! He’s outgoing, friendly and very affectionate. He will gladly accept all the attention he can get. He's about 5 years old and came to the APL as a stray back in January. He was in rough shape but is healthy now and ready for his forever home. While being treated by the Vets at the APL they discovered that Marshmallow is Feline Leukemia Virus positive which means his immune system is weaker than other cats, so he’ll need some extra care. FeLV is only contagious to other cats, so he’d do best as a solo kitty or in a home with other FeLV+ felines. To learn more about Marshmallow call the APL at 216-771-4616 or log on to clevelandapl.org. Check back next week for another Featured Furry Friend from the Cleveland APL!
