DETROIT, MI -- Franmil Reyes has been the lone bright spot throughout the past week in a struggling Cleveland lineup. Reyes remained locked in as he got the tribe offense going with an absolute moonshot to left center field to put Cleveland ahead 2-0. The young Cleveland corner outfielder came through in the clutch once again in the 4th inning with an RBI single to center field. Cleveland rode the hot bats to an impressive 10-5 victory over the Detroit Tigers.

Cleveland tied the New York Yankees for the second longest winning streak over one team in Major League Baseball history, with Friday's win marking the 18th consecutive victory for the tribe over Detroit. New York currently has an ongoing streak of 18 games against the Baltimore Orioles, and the longest streak of all time is currently held by the Baltimore Orioles, who took down the Kansas City Royals 23 straight times in the 1968-1969 seasons.

The Indians found themselves in a battle against the scrappy Tigers before erupting for a 6 run inning in the 4th. Tribe newcomer Domingo Santana launched a no-doubt three-run blast to left field to blow the game wide open. Tyler Naquin tacked on an insurance run in the top half of the 7th inning, hustling to third base on a two-run triple to left center field.

Aaron Civale got beat up a bit throughout his start on Friday night, but held strong en route to his second win of the year. Civale finished the game tossing a total of 6.0 innings pitched, giving up four runs on eight hits, striking out three and walking one lone batter. The young duo of James Karinchak and Cam Hill combined for 2 scoreless innings, striking out two batters.

Cleveland will look for back-to-back wins in Detroit on Saturday evening. First pitch is set for 6:10 PM ET at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. Check out highlights from tonight's win below!
