CLEVELAND--The Indians had opportunities all night but with four runners left in scoring position, All-Star Mike Minor (10-6) pitched seven innings with seven strikeouts and a Nomar Mazara sacrifice fly to drive home Elvis Andrus was all it took for the Indians to fall to the Texas Rangers 1-0.

The losing pitcher, Indians starter Aaron Civale (1-1) also struck out seven. But the Indians were unable to mustard any runs Monday night in front of 17,000 at Progressive Field.

Both teams came in with hot streaks; Indians just swept the Angels and the Rangers swept the Tigers (I know it's the Tigers). The Rangers extend their win streak to five games and keep their AL Wild Card hopes alive.

And while there are no highlights from this game, at least the names are right and you're not called JUSTIN Bieber when your name is Shane Bieber. Check out this very entertaining pregame interview from Sportstime Ohio's Indians Live pregame show.

Indians will start RHP Zach Plesac (6-3, 3.41) Tuesday night against Rangers starter RHP Ariel Jurado (6-6, 4.92).
