Republican Ohio Congressman Anthony Gonzalez will not seek re-election. The 36 year old Rocky River resident is riding off into the political sunset after serving two terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Saint Ignatius and Ohio State product says it has been 'the honor of a lifetime to serve as your member of Congress and I will treasure the remaining months that I have left in office.'
Gonzalez was one of ten House Republicans who voted for impeachment of former President Donald Trump who has endorsed Gonzalez's opponent in the 2022 election in former Trump aide Max Miller.
