Longtime Cleveland weatherman Dick Goddard has passed away. Goddard's daughter, Kim, confirmed that her father passed away early Tuesday morning.
The legendary Goddard spent the better part of fifty years on Cleveland television, most of which at Channel-8.
He was diagnosed with Covid-19 in May and had also battled other health issues in recent years.
Dick Goddard graduated from Green High School in 1949 before studying meteorology in the U.S. Air Force.
Goddard would go on to graduate from Kent State before starting his television career. Dick Goddard was 89.
