Chagrin Falls has always been known as a quiet, calm community but the tiny city started to take on a whole new look on Monday.
A rally for justice was scheduled for this afternoon in Chagrin Falls in the memory of George Floyd who died eight days ago while in police custody in Minneapolis.
In light of violent protests in Cleveland over the weekend and other major U.S. cities, shop owners in Chagrin Falls were taking no chances and started boarding up their storefronts ahead of the scheduled rally.
Turns out, the event set for today has now been canceled by the organizer. He says it is not the right time to hold the event in light of all of the unrest in the aftermath of Floyd's death.
