Cleveland Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger is sounding off against the Houston Astros in light of the scandal which has seen the firings of Houston Manager A.J. Hinch, Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow, Boston Skipper Alex Cora and the resignation of New York Mets manager Carlos Beltran.
Cora was Houston's bench coach and the alleged mastermind behind a sign-stealing scandal during Houston's successful march to a World Series title in 2017.
Beltran was in the final year of his playing career with the 'Stros in 2017. Clevinger reacts more than sternly in the aftermath of the firings and the cheating which he says may have kept other players from staying in the Major Leagues among other things.
