Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders felt some chest discomfort during a campaign appearance Tuesday.
He was admitted to a hospital where it was discovered Sanders had a blockage in one artery.
Senator Sanders had two stents inserted. The 78-year old Sanders is said to be conversing and in good spirits.
His campaign says he will rest over the next several days. His campaign events have been cancelled until further notice.
