The return of Cleveland Indians right-hander Corey Kluber has been clouded after Kluber exited Sunday's re-hab start against Triple-A Charlotte after just one inning of action with left abdominal tightness.
Kluber returned to Cleveland and underwent further examination today, according to the club. The results are unknown.
It was Kluber's third re-hab start. He was placed on the Injured List May 1 after breaking a bone in his right forearm.
He threw just 20 pitches Sunday for Columbus. He was expected to throw 75-80 pitches for the Clippers.
