The head of a large U.S. company says he would rather be locked up then take down a massive American flag in Statesville, North Carolina.
Marcus Lemonis owns Camping World and has a 40 feet by 80 feet flag flying over one of his stores in Statesville.
Lemonis' Camping World owns Gander R-V above which the flag is waving.
City leaders in Statesville say the size of the flag violates a city ordinance and are now suing Lemonis' company because code limits flags to be no larger than 25 feet by 40 feet.
Lemonis tells the 'Associated Press' he understands that Gander R-V is not in compliance but he says the flag will stay even if he's jailed on a contempt of court charge.
