A sex addiction claim did not help the arbitration case of a man who routinely masturbated at work.
The former employee of an aerospace company in Halifax, Nova Scotia was dismissed because his co-workers said his behavior and pleasure noises in the work bathroom made them uncomfortable.
The man filed a claim saying sex addiction was his disability, but that claim was rejected.
He denied his fellow employees' complaints that he was 'moaning and groaning' in the bathroom.
Unifor, the former worker's union, also tried to fight on his behalf, saying he was never given a fair warning before he was fired. The arbitrator ruled that the firing was fair.
