Cavs Reach Into College Ranks To Get Their Man

The Cleveland Cavaliers have their new head coach.

The Cavs have announced they have hired John Beilein as their new sideline boss.

Beilein has spent the past 12 seasons as the head coach of the University of Michigan's basketball team.

The sixty-six year old Beilein led the Wolverines to NCAA title game appearances in 2013 and 2018, both losses.

Beilein has won 829 games at the collegiate level.

He replaces Larry Drew with whom the Cavs parted ways after last season.

Beilein gets a five year deal to become the Cavaliers new head coach.
