The partial government shut-down personally affected the National Champion Clemson Tiger football team. The President honors champions of professional and amateur sports for a White House Ceremony. Unfortunately, The White House catering staff is furloughed thanks to the shut-down and President Trump ordered up a variety of fast food items for the players, coaches and staff to enjoy in the White House's opulent State Dining Room. The dining room's tables were filled with McDonald's Quarter Pounders, Big Macs and Filet-O-Fish sandwiches as well as Wendy's wraps and Domino's pizzas and sides of french fries. The President footed the bill for the entire feast.
