Sleeping with your phone on the couch or in bed is a bad habit, but researchers have discovered it can lead to even worse behavior.
Millennials are increasingly falling prey to 'sleep texting', according to a new study from Villanova University.
A growing number of college-aged students are texting people as they drift off to sleep only to forget having sent the messages the next morning.
The study showed 1/4 of college students sent or responded to a text while asleep, three-quarters of those students said they did not remember using their phones because sleep texting happens subconsciously.
The study also indicates 93-percent of students keep their cell phones with them at night.
