The Guardians got crushed by the Tigers 8-2 in their series opener from Progressive. Carlos Carrasco got the loss after giving up six runs on nine hits over five-plus innings. Jose Ramirez drove in a run as Cleveland has lost three straight and remains first in the AL Central at 59-and-40. The Guardians continue the four-game set tonight.
