Talks with Mexican officials will resume for a third day on Friday after another day of discussions ended without an agreement on border protection. The Mexican Foreign Secretary spoke to reporters outside the State Department Thursday night - saying Mexico is sending 6,000 of its National Guard troops to its southern border with Guatemala, adding that he's an "optimistic man."
