Downtown Cleveland had a very exciting past week with the NCAA Women’s Final Four, The Total Solar Eclipse, and Guardians Home Opener! People came early and stayed late to support Downtown Cleveland’s many small businesses and enjoy the fun.

CIFF 

The fun continues Downtown with the 48th Cleveland International Film Festival running through Saturday, April 13th in Playhouse Square. 

  • Downtown Cleveland is a proud partner of the Cleveland International Film Festival, one of the longest running and largest film festivals in the USA 
  • CIFF48 Streams, the virtual portion of the festival, extends from April 14th to the 21st 
  • The festival draws more than 100,000 film enthusiastic annually, you won’t want to miss it 

 

Public Square Visioning Workshop 

  • Downtown Cleveland, Inc. invites you to join us for one of our upcoming Public Square Visioning Workshops on April 17th and 18th.  
  • Downtown Cleveland was recently granted a $100,000 Community Placemaking grant from Projects for Public Spaces funded by General Motors to allow us to make Public Square a more welcoming place with frequent programming. 
  • This workshop is the first step in our engagement with Project for Public Spaces, a world-renowned public space expert dedicated to helping people create and sustain places that build stronger communities. 
  • The workshop will focus on identifying easy-to-implement improvements that will make it a vibrant place for residents, office workers, and visitors to enjoy.  
  • Come share your ideas and contribute to the vision for an active and safe Public Square.
