CLEVELAND, OH -- The 76ers traveled to Cleveland looking to snap their 3-game losing streak, and had to do so without superstar center Joel Embiid. Cleveland played Philly tough through the first half, only trailing by a bucket, but fell apart in the second half. Philadelphia's second half surge boosted them past the Cavaliers by the final score of 114-94.
Philadelphia was led in scoring by Shake Milton, who came off the bench on fire scoring 27 points on 10-14 shooting. Seth Curry lit the nets on fire shooting 5-10 from deep on his way to a 19-point night. The 76ers move to a record of 6-1 when playing without Joel Embiid.
Kevin Love returned to play on Thursday night, and made an impact on limited minutes. Love came out firing as he scored a quick 8 points in the first, and finished the game with 12 points in just 20 minutes of play time. Collin Sexton led the Cavaliers in scoring with 24 points on 7-15 shooting. Darius Garland had a quiet night scoring but chipped in 8 assists.
The Cavaliers will have Friday off before taking on the Miami Heat on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 8:00 pm ET at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida.
