SACRAMENTO, CA -- Kings guard De'Aaron Fox had a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists, while Buddy Hield lit up the Cavaliers for 23 points as the Sacramento Kings rolled past the Cleveland Cavaliers by the final score of 117-104 on Thursday night.
The Cavaliers were able to hang around for most of the game, until the Kings pulled away in the 4th quarter. The Kings led 101-95 and went on a 9-0 run which was started by a 17-foot jumper by Bogdanovic. Marvin Bagley III scored seven of his 15 points in the 4th quarter as he helped lift the Kings over the Cavaliers. Bogdan Bogdanovic also added in 15 points and added 8 boards as well.
The Cavaliers committed 22 turnovers which led to 27 points for the Kings. Collin Sexton joined Lebron James and Ron Harper as the only Cleveland Cavalier rookies to score 1,300 points. Sexton, who scored 19 points in the Cavaliers losing effort, became the 10th rookie in the NBA to reach the milestone. Jordan Clarkson scored 22 points off the bench, as he has now scored 10 plus points in 19 consecutive games. Cavaliers young big man Ante Zizic caused some trouble in the paint tonight, scoring 14 points and pulling in 10 rebounds. Larry Nance Jr had a double double as he added 11 points and 16 rebounds.
The Cavaliers will play their final road game of the season as they will face-off against the Golden State Warriors in the back end of a back-to-back. Tip-off is set for 10:30 PM ET at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
