A Wisconsin zoo trying to recapture a pair of escaped otters was thwarted by raccoons.
The New Zoo & Adventure Park in Green Bay has been trying to catch the otters since March 20 and came so close after setting traps.
Unfortunately, the critters only entered them after the raccoons set the traps off.
The zoo is now going to deploy “raccoon proof” traps.
