Free agent NFL wide receiver Davante Adams will reportedly sign a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sunday (March 9).

"Six-time Pro-Bowl WR Davante Adams is signing a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams, per source. Adams arrives at a time the Rams are preparing to move on from standout WR Cooper Kupp." Schefter wrote on his X account. "Davante Adams’ deal with the Rams is for two years, $46 million and includes $26 million guaranteed," he added.

Adams, a six-time Pro Bowler, was officially released by the New York Jets last Tuesday (March 4), months after being acquired in a mid-season trade with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The former All-Pro recorded a combined 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games during the 2024 season and has exceeded 1,000 receiving yards during six of the last seven seasons. The Rams recently restructured veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford's contract and informed veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp that it would be seeking a trade involving him immediately last month.

THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY AND WILL BE UPDATED.
