JD Vance is the first vice president from Ohio in nearly a century.

The Middletown native and OSU grad took the oath in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda earlier today.

Vance served as Ohio's U.S. senator before being selected by Trump to be his running mate.

He is the third-youngest vice president in U.S. history.

The 40-year-old is also the first Millennial to serve as vice president.
