The Akron Public Schools board is not saying why a special session scheduled for Monday was canceled.
The meeting was put on the books Sunday with the stated purpose being to speak with an attorney and to consider the employment, dismissal, and/or discipline of someone in a personnel matter.
The meeting's scheduling and cancellation come as an investigation has been underway into Superintendent Michael Robinson and other members of district leadership.
