A Westlake woman who, police say, left her three young children at home while she went to Florida has been convicted of child endangerment.
Prosecutors say that 32-year-old Domonique Knowles left her ten-year-old child and their two younger twin sisters with special needs home unattended while she went to Miami to be with a friend who was having liposuction.
The situation was uncovered when a school teacher requested a welfare check be conducted at the family's home.
Knowles is scheduled to be sentenced tomorrow.
