The Guardians shut out the White Sox 5-0 from Chicago. Ben Lively gave up one hit before leaving the game in the second inning after getting hit by a comebacker. Pedro Avila earned the win in relief while Lane Thomas led the offense with a three-run homer. Cleveland has won three-of-five to remain first in the AL Central and will go for the series sweep this afternoon.
