(Elyria) UPDATE: 48-year-old Ricardo Garcia and 39-year-old Emjay Padilla have turned themselves in to police after they were posted as this week's Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force's Fugitives of the Week.
The Elyria couple is accused of beating up their neighbor over claims that the neighbor tried to steal their cat. The two are charged with felonious assault. A 19-year-old family member who was also involved in the attack was already arrested and has since been released.
Christopher Johnson was beaten and stabbed during the assault. He suffered a broken cheekbone, cuts to his face, stabbed in the neck, and is forced to wear a back brace.
