A Summit County man who tried to poison cats with suspected bowls of antifreeze at a Green mobile home park has learned his sentence.
James Genovese is the manager of the Sandy Beach Trailer Park where some residents contacted police earlier this year after spotting the bowls of poison on the property.
Genovese pleaded no contest this week to charges including attempted animal cruelty of companion animals and non-companion animals as well as a charge of poisoning animals.
He has been ordered to spend three days at an alternative sentencing center and to make a $1,000 donation to the Summit County Humane Society.
