Infamous stock trader Ivan Boesky has died at age 87.
In the 1980s, Boesky was part of one of Wall Street’s biggest insider trading scandals ever.
His role in the scandal resulted in a $100 million fine and a 20-month sentence in a California minimum-security prison.
Boesky famously helped inspire the character of Gordon Gekko in the 1987 film ‘Wall Street.’
