Investigators into the Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore say the cargo ship that caused it was dealing with power outages before leaving port.

A preliminary report released Tuesday says the cargo ship Dali had experienced a 10-hour electrical blackout while undergoing maintenance in the Port of Baltimore.

Another blackout took place after leaving port, when the Dali was roughly half a mile from the bridge.

A second blackout happened shortly before the Dali crashed into a support beam of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, collapsing it immediately and killing six workers.
