Money has been turning up in public restrooms in Ohio – and authorities don’t have a clue as to where it came from.
The latest discovery occurred over the weekend in Marysville, where an employee found $12,000 in a KFC restroom, according to the Marysville Police Division. The bizarre discovery occurred less than a week after someone else found $25,000 in a restroom at the Avalon Theater, police say.
Marysville Police Captain Nate Sachs says he has no idea where the money came from or why it was left in the restrooms. He adds in his 18-year career in law enforcement, this case “is a first.”
