The City of Cleveland has designated the former home of Jesse Owens as a historic landmark.
Owens lived at the home at the time he won four gold medals at the 1936 Olympics in Germany.
The Cleveland Restoration Society now plans to work with the home's current owner on external renovation plans to bring back some of the history from the Owens era.
