Get ready for some loud buzzing this spring and summer - the 'Cicada-geddon' is upon us.
Two major cicada broods - one that hatches every 13 years and one that hatches every 17 years - will be emerging at the same time this year.
That hasn't happened since 1803 - when Thomas Jefferson was president.
The 13-year Brood XIX will emerge over a large chunk of the U.S., while the 17-year Brood XIII will mostly swarm the Midwest.
Cicadas typically begin hatching in late April and continue into early June.
