American Airlines is making some big changes for flyers.
On Tuesday, the carrier announced it would raise bag fees for most checked luggage for domestic flights to $40 for those who did not prepay online.
For those who do prepay, the average cost will be $35.
Meanwhile, American has also shared that it will cut the cost of transferring frequent-flyer points between accounts.
