(Cleveland) The Ohio Department of Transportation is preparing for what's expected to be a significant winter snow event beginning Thursday night. ODOT says it uses roughly 3,000 plow drivers that work 12-hour shifts, and many have already begun with pre-treating the highways. Drivers are reminded to give plows plenty of room when they're out there applying salt, salt brine, and plowing away the snow. So far this month, 8 ODOT plow trucks have been struck while out trying to do their job. Four of those occurred this past Tuesday.
